William Blake's poem (1794), "Earth's Answer",  is the inspiration for our company name. Additionally, the paragraphs below provide some insight into our worldview and into our working philosophy... 

Earth is in the balance and "sustainability" is a keyword in our 21st-century lexicon. The task of creating and developing sustainable relationships occurs at the nexus of social, environmental, and economic practices. This means that the implementation of sustainable practices relies upon the strategies of resource investments that foster and contribute to the livelihoods of all individuals participating in a local environment. 
Within an environment, the local activities of individual producers and individual consumers resonate across scales of time and space. As a consumer, the products and the services you choose impact the environment, the local economy, and other individuals sharing in the environment.

Earth’s Answer Gardening & Ecological Rehabilitation understands individuals in an environment to be human and non-human living entities. By recognizing that humans and non-humans are participants in a shared environment the connections between sustainable practices and living ecologically become more evident. 

An ecological community is a group of different species interacting in a particular geographic location characterized by distinctive energy flows and materials recycling. If human beings fail to recognize their interactions in their local ecological communities--or worse yet, resist the conception that human beings co-exist with non-human species in the many ecological communities that constitute the earth--then the implementation of sustainable practices can never be truly effective.
